She graduated with a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College in Los Angeles, spent time in Taiwan and China for extended studies and has completed an orthopedic specialty and been board certified by the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics.

She has been licensed by the New Mexico, Arizona and California State Acupuncture Boards and holds a diplomate in acupuncture and herbology from the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Howard also spent two years studying functional medicine and was certified as a Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP) in 2017.
